Metropolitan Lounge - 863m2
Recent renovations at the Metropolitan Lounge have resulted in an expansive flat-floor area of 863m2, providing significant scope for users, and the practical advantage of being on the ground floor. Wide bi-fold doors at the main southern entrance and a large roller door on the west side of the venue further increase the flexibility of the venue by allowing easy access for large equipment including vehicles.

Christian Cullen Lounge - 782m2
Located on the first floor of the Stewards and Members Stand, the Christian Cullen Lounge is our second largest venue, measuring 782m2. Its generous size makes it ideal for trade shows, conferences and large banquets. The Christian Cullen Lounge is fully air conditioned and accessible via escalator, stairs and a commercial sized lift. It features new carpet, a bar at either end of the room and dimmer lighting to suit any occasion.

Mezzanine Lounge - 734m2
At 734m2, the Mezzanine Lounge in the Main Stand is one of Addington Events Centre's largest venues. Its size makes it ideal for trade shows and retail sales promotions. It is also suited to banquets and dinner dances, and provides easy access outside to the race track. The Mezzanine Lounge has good natural light and can be combined with the adjoining Cafeteria for larger events, or events which require public catering facilities.

Twiggers - 682m2
When it isn’t in use for Cabaret, Dine and Dance events (held most Friday and Saturday nights from February to December) Twiggers is available for private hire. Twiggers is a large, well-equipped ground-floor venue ideal for banquets and special celebrations, particularly those incorporating live entertainment. This 682m2 venue features a raised stage with accompanying sound and lighting set-up, a built in dance floor, dining area, a bar and a 196m2 outdoor courtyard area with adjoining lawn. The tall windows are elegantly draped and a lounge area provides guests with a relaxing environment sufficiently far away from the stage to allow easy conversation.

Silks - 663m2
Silks retains the same sense of elegance found in the Presidents and Stewards venues but is nearly twice their size at 663m2. With beautiful vistas of the Southern Alps, Silks is an ideal choice for large dinner functions and meetings, trade shows and conferences. Silks can be accessed by stairs and a commercial sized lift, is newly carpeted, fully air conditioned and features dimmer light control.

Race Track & Grand Stand
In addition to over 15 indoor venues, Addington Events Centre also has a large grandstand, racetrack and in-field lawn area available for hire. These facilities are perfectly suited to spectator events and can be combined with the hire of one or more indoor venues. Please call us for further information.
