Addington Events Centre is one of Christchurch’s longest-established and largest event venues.  Initially developed in the 1930s to host harness racing events, the Centre has expanded its facilities over the decades and is today one of the city’s leading venues for private and commercial events. The size and scope of our facilities allows us to accommodate even the largest trade shows, conferences and entertainment events.  And with over 15 individual venue choices complete with all the modern facilities you’d expect, we can just as effectively cater for smaller, more intimate gatherings.  Our comprehensive in-house catering service offers true flexibility, encompassing everything from cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres through to buffets and silver service banquets. Our aim is to make your event easy by offering excellent value for money, a flexible approach and all the expertise you need to ensure your event runs smoothly.  We look forward to doing business with you and to making your event a resounding success.
